We partner with suppliers who share our commitment to environmental stewardship, prioritizing certified sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing practices.
The integrated management system of Standard is built and implemented taking into account the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, which are confirmed by the quality certificates issued by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH
We carefully sort all production waste and continuously explore new, more efficient recycling methods. Most of our production facility is heated using production surpluses and biomass, with fossil fuels reserved only for extreme winter conditions. Our factory runs on renewable electricity using energy of wind and solar parks.
Standard AS is officially FSC® certified, covering both FSC Mix and FSC 100% product categories. This certification reflects our commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable forestry practices. By adhering to the Forest Stewardship Council’s rigorous standards, we ensure that the materials we use originate from responsibly managed forests that deliver environmental, social, and economic benefits.
We are certified to ISO 14001:2015, the international standard for environmental management systems. This confirms that we systematically manage our environmental impact and continuously work to reduce it while complying with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Our projects meet rigorous European sustainability assessment standards. We regularly evaluate our suppliers.
Recent Achievements in Sustainibility
Standard sucessfully reduced its CO2 emissions intensity by 15.8% relative to revenue growth, demonstrating that sustainavle development and financial expansion can advance hand in hand.
Standard, in collaboration with PlaatDetail, has developed SIPA a new generation of lightweight furniture system that redefines durability and environmental performance.
The material is 2.5 times lighter than traditional chipboard, 100% waterproof, and sustainable both inside and out. Manufactured from recycled ocean plastics, it transforms waste into long lasting, high-quality design solutions – demonstrating how innovation and responsibility can coexist seamlessly.
Our factory in Estonia now operates on renewable energy sourced from wind and solar parks, further reducing our operational carbon footprint. This transition represents a key step in our ongoing efforts to decrease emissions and advance toward a more sustainable and energy efficient production process.
Let’s work together to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and environmentally responsible.
