A tribute to Copenhagen’s vibrant theatre district, Scandic Falkoner brings the atmosphere of classic cinemas and concert halls into a contemporary Nordic hotel. In Frederiksberg’s cultural heart, guest rooms and public areas are conceived as warm, theatrical stages, where clean Scandinavian lines meet rich textures, dramatic lighting and refined details.
The Challenge
Realise Koncept Stockholm’s strong narrative – from intimate guest rooms to lively public spaces – while ensuring durability, functionality and a coherent design language throughout a high-traffic hotel.
Our Solution
Standard delivered the fixed furniture for the guest rooms, as well as the full fit-out, fixed furniture and equipment supply for the public areas. In the rooms, bespoke headboards, wardrobes, desks and integrated storage were engineered for intensive use while preserving a calm, cinematic feel. In the public zones – lobby, bar, lounge and circulation areas – we translated the interior concept into precisely detailed counters, wall panelling, banquette seating and loose elements that support both flow and social interaction. Carefully coordinated finishes and thoughtful integration of lighting and technology ensure that every space, from corridor to main stage, feels unmistakably Scandic Falkoner: urban, theatrical and distinctly Scandinavian.
