Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels is a grand postmodern icon reimagined for today. In the heart of the city, architect Michel Jaspers has given the hotel a new design that highlights its dramatic geometry, generous volumes and refined material palette, creating an atmosphere that feels both international and distinctly Brussels.
The Challenge
Refresh a large, established city-centre hotel in a way that honours its postmodern character, ensures consistency across 282 rooms and suites, and delivers the level of comfort and functionality expected from a Radisson Collection property.
Our Solution
Standard produced bespoke fixed furniture solutions for 87 of the hotel’s 282 rooms and suites, carefully translating Michel Jaspers’ design into precise, durable pieces. Headboards, wardrobes, workspaces and integrated storage were developed to complement the strong architectural lines and selected finishes, while keeping rooms calm, practical and easy to use. The result is a series of guest spaces that reinforce the hotel’s renewed identity—elegant, characterful and perfectly in tune with the spirit of Grand Place and Brussels city life.
