Rae Gymnasium is a contemporary learning environment designed to support a new generation of students. With 26 learning spaces – including a fully equipped science lab – alongside a student council centre, a 120-seat auditorium and a 184-seat learning and dining hall, the school is planned for up to 540 learners and a wide variety of activities throughout the day.
The Challenge
Create interiors that serve many different functions – from focused study to collaboration, performance and community events – while ensuring durability, comfort and a coherent visual identity in line with the interior architecture by Raili Paling and Kadri Kaldam (KOKO architects).
Our Solution
Standard furnished the teachers’ room, meeting rooms, classrooms and auditorium, providing furniture solutions tailored to each zone’s specific use. In the learning spaces, ergonomic desks and chairs, flexible layouts and practical storage support different teaching methods and group sizes. In the auditorium, carefully selected seating and furniture enhance visibility, comfort and acoustics for school events and presentations. Across the school, materials, colours and forms follow the architects’ concept, resulting in a unified environment where students and staff can learn, collaborate and gather in spaces that feel both functional and welcoming.
